Lizel who was standing outside of David's office door also heard some whispers and picked up some words from David and Oliver conversation. Specifically she picked up
Headmaster, special permit, Kai, that place, contribution.
As she tried to link these things together and guess about the topic they are talking about.
Lizel just started thinking and analysing the information when David opened the door with Kai following behind him and found that Lizel was standing in front of the room.
"Lizel, you still have not left or is there still some you need?"asked David as he looked at Lizel with doubt and suspicious graze.
"Nothing Sir David I was just planning on leaving"saying that she starts moving her legs and leaves in a hurry.
David sighed and thought"I can't blame her for being curious. After all, it is related to Headmaster"and turned around to look at Kai with a complicated feeling.Even though you are Yami Grandson, are you not getting too much attention from Headmaster? Even Yami never received such treatment during his academy days. To think he will allow someone to enter Battle Aura Temple without making any contribution to the academy ''and spoke to Kai as he placed his hand on Kai's shoulder and looked into his eyes``You really are special Kai. You are the first person in academy history who is receiving such Special attention from the Headmaster. I don't know what your relationship is with the headmaster and why he is willing to help you so much. But please don't disappoint him, he does not have much life left but he still push his old body to limit everyday just so that academy can keep running properly"
Kai looked at David and said,"Sir, don't worry. I don't know what the Headmaster told you or where to take me but from your expectations I can guess it is a really extraordinary place and holds great importance to the academy. As for headmaster expectations for me, don't worry I will fulfill his wish"
David smiled"Follow me. I am going to take you to the core part of the academy. Most outstanding students who made great contributions to the academy were the only ones who have ever been there. You are the first who is going to enter that place without any contribution"
Turning around David and Kai followed.
Kai, who was following David, notices that they are going towards the core region of the Academy while they pass by different types of buildings dedicated to different things. Domes, towers, small workshops, training ground and finally Kai saw the large forty meter tall wall and a black iron gate of twenty meters with a small gate of two meter aside it with thirdy guarding it. Surprisingly all of them are peakMagic Warrior stage experts equipped with low level transcend level weapons and items most of them were magic users while one third were battle mage.
On reaching the gate. David met the head of guards and whispered something in his ears and called Oliver and handed the voice transmission rune device to him.
After sometime Kai, the head of Guards, constantly nods his head and gives the device back to David.
While David signed Kai to come over as head of the guard, open the small gate. Allowing Kai and David to enter the Core region.
Entering the core region Kai had a different feeling from before and can feel that the ether or ethereal which is the basic form of magic power in the atmosphere is two to three times greater than the inner court. When he first entered the core region with Oliver he never felt this difference.
"Can you feel the difference in Kai at ethereal level? It's is one of the specially of core region"
Kai nodded and asked"But Sir I never felt it during my visit to Headmaster residence"
"That because Headmaster residence area and the area around is out of the Ethereal gathering Magic array which gather the Ether from surroundings"
Kai nodded as they continued walking towards the centre of the academy.
Getting closer and closer to the centre of the academy. Kai felt the increase in ethereal level every ten minutes as they passed by different buildings and finallythirty minutes later they reached an open space as they traveled towards the centre and saw white pillars placed in a way to form a circle.
Just by looking at it. One can tell that this place is the core of the magic array. Ethereal levels were already ten times greater than the inner court but the most interesting part Kai found is the large triple layer barrier rune circuit of 6 stage peaks. Which is transparent and supported by the magic array.
Standing before the barrier beside David, Kai got a closer glimpse of the rune details.
"Interesting a hidden attack, killing, restrictions, lock and illusion rure circuit. Whatever is behind this barrier must be of great importance to academy"said Kai in heart and look at David who played his hand on the rure barrier and golden runes appear on top of barrier with a circle below it and he placed his hand over it and a hole opened of the size of 3meter dia.
"Follow me Kai"saying that David entered inside and Kai followed behind him.
[On the other side of barrier]
As soon as David and Kai exited the hole. It closed up behind them andfound themselves standing before an old shining temple completely made up of brass. Cracks were here and there with scratched marks on its surface and beside it a stone was placed with words carved on it.
'BATTLE AURA TEMPLE'
'Only worthy may enter'
Mediocre are you. Genius are you. Foolish are you. Intelligent are you. Brave are you.
It Doesn't matter if you start before the gate of this temple. You are a master of your own destiny.
Seeing such words carved on the entrance of this place Kai looked at David.
"Don't look at me like this even though I only know these words were carved by the founder of Chronos Magic Academy. The greatest Spirit Magic user who has ever lived on this continent. Shaman King Kabo"
"So what this temple is about, don't tell me. You take me to this place just to pray to some gods"said Kai as he pointed his finger at the old temple while David stopped him from doing so in a hurry.
"Don't point your finger at the temple. It will bring misfortune to you. Many people have died due to such action"as he looked at the temple and did not see any change in the temple and felt relieved in heart.
"So what is this temple about"asked Kai again
"This old temple as you can see is a mysterious place. It's a place with thousands of battle arts but they are not ordinary battle arts which can be found in the Grand Library or any other place.
"Kai, how much do you know about battle aura?"asked David with a serious voice.
"I only know that battle aura work is the same as Magic pressure which is used to suppress other person whose of lower level of cultivation"
"Wrong. Battle Aura and Magic pressure are different. Magic pressure is the result of the concentration of magic inside you while battle aura is similar to Ethereal which is a basic form of magic power"and looked at the old temple.
"The battle aura temple has true battle arts which can display the full potential of a battle mage. Allowing a battle mage to change the nature of battle aura and it for fighting, defending or even cut thought magic or fight while allowing battle aura and magic energy or magic power to combine and form a new kind of strength which can allow you to go beyond the limits of your cultivation as for the other details you will find about it inside the battle aura temple. Remember after entering the battle, the aura temple stands in the middle of the hall and releases your battle aura. The battle aura which is compatible with you"
"Will you not enter with me"
David shaked his head"A person can only one time entire the battle aura temple in his lifetime. I have already gotten my chance now it's your turn"
Kai nodded as he walked towards the door of battle aura temple and pushed it open and entered inside while David saw the door closing after Kai entered.
"Best of luck, Kai. I hope you find a batte art of your choice"said David as he waited for Kai's return.
