Chapter 82: First Day of Academy Life(Part-2)
While Oliver was worried about him due to an unknown reason, Alice and Kai finished eating their breakfast and were getting to leave for the assembly ground.
Once out of the room, Kai followed Alice and entered the dormitory office. They saw aunt Delfonia standing while holding two 10 cm. diameter crystal balls.
"Here you go, you two." Aunty Delfonia handed the crystal balls over to them.
Now with the crystal balls, Alice and Kai said bye to aunt Delfonia and left.
"Alice, what are these crystal balls?"
"Just do what I do." She placed the crystal ball on the ground, inserted some magic and a magic circle appeared on its surface. Then, it turned into a meter-wide, 1 cm thick circular plate.
Alice stood on top of it and it started flying in the air.
"Now Kai, do the same. Hurry or we will be late."
Kai nodded and did the same. He started flying and zoomed towards the sky, following Alice side by side.
Standing on the disc, about a 100 meters above ground, Kai saw thousands of people standing on various discs passing by his side at great speed and rushing towards the assembly ground.
Kai and Alice also followed.
While they were going towards the assembly ground, Kai saw just how big the academy was.
There were numerous buildings of different sizes and designs, a giant 300-meter radius wide arena, a market area, parks, training grounds and tall towers that Kai had to avoid from time to time.
"Are you surprised to see how big the academy is? I was also when I first saw this scene," said Alice while flying beside Kai.
He smiled and didn't say anything.
"This place is too small compared to the Capital city of Buraford Kingdom, but it's more prosperous compared to it."
While the students passed by, they looked at Kai.
"Who is that senior? It's my first time seeing the Queen talking to a guy in such a friendly manner."
"Maybe he is her boyfriend."

Kai had become the center of attention of all the students of the outer circle.

Noticing Kai looking at them, they nodded back, to which Kai smiled.
As these conversations went on about Kai and Alice, the students finally reached the assembly ground.

During the conversation, Kai found that this place was in the core areas of the academy and that no teleporter connected to this place, which is why they have to use the flying discs to get there.

Everyone started clapping, most being the new students who haven't see him for the first time.
"This guy is the legendary battle mage. He is the oldest and strongest battle mage alive," said a guy while everyone was excited, especially the battle mages and fighters.
Even Kai could feel that Oliver was not as simple as he looked and for a moment, Kei felt as if their eyes made contact.
"This guy is really not simple, Kai," told Daoma to Kai using mind transmission.
"This guy is infinitely close to the Magic Commander realm, and I can feel a strange energy around him, which is different from magic power."
Hearing Daoma, Kai became even more impatient to meet him in person.
"Silence please."
Everyone stopped talking and Oliver continued.
"To the new students who have passed this year's entrance exams, welcome to the academy and sorry for not being able to attend the entrance exams, I had to pass on the duty to one of my trusted teachers, David. One after another, all students and teachers left, leaving only Old Black, Kai and headmaster Oliver in the assembly ground.
Seeing this, Kai and Old black walked towards headmaster Oliver, who was smiling at Kai.
"Headmaster Oliver, good morning."
"Good morning, Kai," replied Oliver as he signaled Old Black to leave them alone.
Old Black nodded and left.
"Let's go and talk in my personal quarters. We have many things to discuss, Kai," smiled Oliver.
Kai nodded and they both left the assembly grounds, heading toward the headmaster's personal residence.
