An extremely powerful aura surged from afar, making the air itself feel heavy for a moment.

"Let's go inside," Yaeger quickly grabbed Layna's hand and moved. The latter, returning to her senses, quickly followed with a worried look. The individual who released such a horrifying aura had to be dangerous!

Just as Yaeger and Layna entered the cell, a figure suddenly appeared before the human wall. Under the orange lighting, the warden, his face filled with scars, stared ahead like a villain, his eyeballs nearly popping out. The previous bad premonition had actually come true!

Behind him, the middle-aged Magician, the Warrior with a gray beard, and the short man subsequently arrived. "Hurry up and get them out!" Mark the warden clenched his fists and said angrily. If these were all prisoners, he would've acted already, not hesitating even if it meant killing them. However, they weren't. Not to mention, the black-armored soldiers were all elites of the Empire; any harm to Farat would spell deep trouble for Mark.

‘Damn it!' He was so angry he wanted to kill someone. However, the thought of Black-hearted Princess and Layna still being trapped made him calm down. They would never escape his grasp. ‘I have more than enough time to play with you!' Mark quietly decided to torture them to half-death once captured. His plan was ideal, but its feasibility was uncertain.

Suddenly, faint spatial energy started appearing. "Oh no!" Mark's mind flashed with inspiration, realizing something as he shouted, "They have a teleportation item!" The middle-aged magician expressed surprise.

When the gray-bearded Warrior and the short man heard this, they were also shocked. The possibility of Black-hearted Princess owning a teleportation item was dismissed by everyone due to its rarity and value. Yet, here she was, using it!

At this moment, Mark and the rest lost their patience, feeling the urge to break in and forcibly stop the teleportation. Unfortunately, that was impossible.

"Hurry up!" Mark urged, his face reddened. However, the human wall constructed by Yaeger was tightly packed; it wasn't easily removed. After working together to remove several people and create a hole, Mark slid through like a snake to the other side of the corridor, then sprinted to the cell.

The moment he rushed in, his expression worsened, his eyes bloodshot and wide open. "Black-hearted Princess!"

He then screamed hysterically. There was absolutely nothing in the cell. "Ahhhhh!" Outside the cell, Rosalina's screams continued. The roar and scream mixed together, creating a cacophony. On the other side, the Magician and the others also reached the cell, their expressions equally grim. Not only that, but she also escaped that horrible place. This was nothing short of unbelievable. ‘Princess is truly awesome.' She quietly stared at Yaeger, emotions rippling in her heart.

A gust of wind blew through, carrying the smell of dirt and grass. Yaeger ruffled her jet-black hair, which was scattered by the wind, and looked at Layna. "We are safe here for now. What do you plan to do next?"

"My plan…" Layna exhaled gently. "Is it dangerous if I go back to Jade City now?"

"It is. Very much so. Especially since you are affiliated with me. That makes it worse," Yaeger added.

"Then I won't go back for now." Layna enjoyed the feeling of liberation as she placed her hands on her back. She hadn't traveled abroad for a long time. What happened now was a great opportunity.

"What do you plan to do?" Yaeger asked.

"I'll return to my hometown first, then travel around the place and keep myself hidden," Layna said truthfully. She was just a pharmacist, both uninterested and incompetent in the political affairs of the Empire.
