" I think we should take another look into arc reactor technology." Tony said

"I'm sorry I didn't give you a heads-up, okay? But if I had..." Tony tried to explain when Obadiah stopped him

"You gotta let me handle this. We're gonna have to play a whole different kind of ball now. We're going to have to take a lot of heat. I want you to promise me that you're gonna lay low." Obadiah said to which Tony nodded his head.

"Shit! Fuck what the hell? Bastard" Niijima was cursing Stark as soon as he heard the news, Niijima was woken around 2 Am when Stark released the news and since then Niijima has been unable to sleep.

"Stop cursing dammit!" Kenichi said, he couldn't hear Niijima's cursing anymore.

"How can I? I trusted Stark and this is how he repays me?" Niijima said

"Don't worry the company points may fall more but it won't take long before they rise up again and may even surpass their highest points till now." Kenichi stated

"Huh! Your company hasn't been able to recover even after a year you stopped creating weapon and entered the medical field" Niijima said

"Yeah, but Stark is different he already has something that will make him number one in the field of clean and sustainable energy" Kenichi said

"What's that?" asked Niijima

"He was able to miniaturize the arc reactor" stated Kenichi

"What? That science project of theirs! Are you sure?" asked Niijima

"Yes, because I have seen it, that's what's keeping him alive for now. Though it won't work for long that's why I am hoping to see if I can get Master Akisame and Master Kensei to come with me to America or bring Stark to japan so that they can help him." Kenichi explained

"Ok, If you need to make it so that they can go to Japan just tell. A private jet will take them there" Niijima said as he understood how important it is for him for Stark to stay alive.

"Ok" Kenichi said as he knew why Niijima was so eager to help.

"Oh, my God, is that the thing that's keeping you alive?" asked Pepper as she saw Tony holding his old arc reactor in his hand.

"It was. It is now an antique. This is what will be keeping me alive for the foreseeable future. I'm swapping it up for an upgraded unit, and I just ran into a little speed bump." said Tony as he showed her the arc reactor that he took from one of his armours.

" Speed bump, what does that mean?" asked Pepper

"It's nothing. It's just a little snag. There's an exposed wire under this device. And it's contacting the socket wall and causing a little bit of a short. It's fine." Tony pulls out the old device, handing it to Pepper.

"What do you want me to do?" asked Pepper

"Put that on the table over there. That is irrelevant." Tony said

" Oh, my God! " Pepper mumbled while setting the old reactor on the table.

" I want you to reach in, and you're just gonna gently lift the wire out." Tony said

"Is it safe?" asked Pepper

"Yeah, it should be fine. It's like Operation. You just don't let it touch the socket wall or it goes "beep."" Tony joked

"What do you mean, "Operation"?" she Pepper

"It's just a game, never mind. Just gently lift the wire." Tony said

"Okay." Pepper replied

"No, you're fine. You're the most capable, qualified, trustworthy person I've ever met. You're gonna do great. Is it too much of a problem to ask? 'Cause I'm..." Tony started to ramble when pepper stopped him

" I really need your help here." Tony said

" Okay." Pepper slides her hand into the hole in Tony's chest. "Oh, there's pus!"

"It's not pus. It's an inorganic plasmic discharge from the device, not from my body." Tony explained

" It smells!" Pepper scrunched her nose.

" Yeah, it does. The copper wire. The copper wire, you got it?" Tony nodded his head excepting the fact that it smells while also explaining to Pepper what she needs to do.

"Okay, you got it? Now, don't let it touch" Pepper lets it touch the side causing Tony flinch and painfully continue "the sides when you're coming out!"

"That's what I was trying to tell you before. Okay, now make sure that when you pull it out, that you don't..." Pepper pulls out the wire with the magnet attached and the medical equipment starts beeping. "There's a magnet at the end of it! That was it. You just pulled it out."

"Oh, God!" Pepper said

"Okay, I was not expecting..." Tony said

"Okay, what do I do?" asked Pepper as she tried to put back the magnet in

"Don't put it back in! Don't put it back in!" Tony raised his voice.

"What's wrong?" asked Pepper

"Nothing, I'm just going into cardiac arrest--" Tony said painfully

"What? You said it was safe!" Pepper shouted
